Our Pastors and Staff

Pastor Joe Thomas, Franklin Baptist Church

Joe Thomas - Lead Pastor

Pastor Joe has been at Franklin for over 15 years. He has preached the inerrant, infallible Word of God for 25 years and loves its truth. It is a joy to see Biblical truth work through peoples lives by the power of God for the glory of God. Educated primarily at Southeastern Seminary, he still enjoys the occasional seminary class. He and his wife, Norma, have been married for 31 years and their son, Bobby, is a graduate of Southeastern Seminary. Bobby and his wife, Sarah Beth have been married for 5 years.

"If you do not know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and would like to know more about what that means, then I can gladly tell you that Jesus not only saved me by forgiving me of my sins, He has turned my entire life around for the better while bringing great joy with a sense of complete fulfillment to one who was once lost. If you are looking for great fellowship, want to hear the Bible preached expositionally (verse by verse), and desire to grow in your relationship with God to the point of serving Him with the gift He has given you, then please join our part of God's great family."

Dustin Dupre - Youth Minister

Dustin (27) and Flora Dupre (26). Children are Elouise (6), Ben (3), and Julia (1). We have been married for 7 years. We are followers of Christ, Husband and wife, and seek to be God honoring and discipling parent of our three children. I am a graduate of Piedmont International University in Winston Salem, B.S. in Health and Physical Education. Flora is a hardworking and dedicated homeschool mom.

Flora and I have been in youth ministry for about 9 years. We love being involved in teenagers lives and are grateful for the opportunity to serve at FBC. We are big fans of small groups and cherish the one on one opportunities with teens when they come. Our goal is to display sacrificial Christ-like living so the teens can see that Christianity, a life in Christ, is a real lifestyle that is preeminent in every aspect of our day. We teach that our minds are in need of daily renewal which is accomplished by meditation on God’s Word, and that the Church, the body of Christ, is a vital part of our life. Our philosophy is to used by God to disciple teens, who will in turn disciple others.
